The Policy for Sustainable Agriculture in New South Wales forms part of the process of incorporating principles and objectives of ecologically sustainable development into the ethos of agricultural industries in this State. It also aims to facilitate a change in agricultural production in New South Wales towards ecologically and economically sustainable practices and farming systems.
The Policy recognizes the shared goals of government, farmers and conservationists and the need for all stakeholders to work together to achieve a sustainable agricultural sector in New South Wales.
