6th annual Sustainable Cropping Systems Symposium on April 1, 2016

The 6th annual Sustainable Agriculture Cropping Systems Symposium is scheduled for April 1, 2016. "Farmer-led and On-farm Research" is the theme for this year.

In 101 Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building, Sarah Carlson, Midwest Cover Crops Research Coordinator for the Practical Farmers of Iowa, will give a keynote address at 12:20 p.m. Carlson’s lecture will be followed with a three-hour symposium, which will take place in the Stuckeman Family Building Jury Space beginning at 1:45 p.m.

Penn Staters who are doing research or education in sustainable agriculture, on-farm research, or a related topic are invited to submit a poster abstract for the symposium.

Posters will be displayed during the entire symposium and will be presented by the author(s) from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

Please send your poster abstract to Ebony Murrell by Friday, March 11. Abstracts should not exceed 350 words in length.

Please note that late abstracts will not be accepted. Questions regarding the posters may also be directed to Ebony.
